The M1A2 SEP TUSK II is a highly advanced variant of the U.S. Army’s Abrams main battle tank, designed to enhance survivability and combat effectiveness in urban and close-quarters environments. “M1A2” refers to the second major iteration of the original Abrams design, “SEP” stands for System Enhancement Package, and “TUSK” is short for Tank Urban Survival Kit. The TUSK II configuration represents the most comprehensive suite of upgrades aimed at improving performance in asymmetric warfare, particularly during operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The M1A2 SEP features upgraded electronics, thermal sights, commander's independent thermal viewer (CITV), improved armor, and a digital battlefield network.
